Who We Are
We have eleven veterinarians on staff and over 40 healthcare members including licensed technicians, assistants, and receptionists. Our hospital includes a large surgery suite, ultrasound, endoscopy, digital radiography, a critical care unit, oxygen cages, pharmacy, and separate dog and cat rooms. We perform soft-tissue, orthopedic and laser surgeries.

Dr. Chad Givens is my usual vet but I have also seen other vets and they are all great. They take time to explain everything and I am a healthcare provider for people so I can ask a lot of questions. They are always patient with me and answer everything I need to have answered. While professional they have also been kind and friendly and this includes all the staff.

Was so grateful to discover that Hillsboro Animal Hospital serves the smallest critters and was appreciative of the care we were able to receive for my daughter's sick gerbil. Dr Given was knowledgeable about the gerbil and took time with us. He took the case seriously, even though just a little gerbil, and interacted very kindly with my 12 year old daughter about her pet....

Dr. Garbarino is fantastic! She has such enthusiasm and truly cares about pets. She also reads the room and knows how to interact with varying levels of energy which is very helpful. For example, she’s very calm with my cat and very cheery with my dog. Also the clinic in general is very clean and a very good vibe when you enter. My pets love going to the vet!
