Dr. Ladd:
Dr. Stephen Ladd is from Pulaski, TN but travelled all over the country being a son of a Marine fighter-pilot. He graduated from Louisiana State University in 1983 and joined Hillsboro Animal Hospital immediately after graduation. Dr. Ladd is married and has four children along with four Labradors, a Bullmastiff and a Maine Coon cat that runs the house.
Dr. Hendrix:
Dr. Stephen Hendrix is from Huntsville, Al. He graduated from Auburn University with a marketing degree but realized his calling for veterinary medicine soon after. He went on to the University of Tennessee and graduated in 1994 and joined us in 1995. Dr. Hendrix is married and has three beautiful daughters. They have two miniature pinschers and a big mutt named Eli who Dr. Hendrix found on the side of the road. Dr. Hendrix enjoys running and plays paintball on a regular basis as a hobby.
Dr. Rogers:
Dr. Chip Rogers was born and raised in Nashville. He went to David Lipscomb University while working part-time for Hillsboro Animal Hospital. He then graduated from the University of Tennessee in 1997 and joined us in 2001. Dr. Rogers is married and has three boys. They also have a tiny chihuahua named Dora that Dr. Rogers saved after being abandoned with parvo. They recently adopted an energetic mix breed named Bentley.
Dr. Given:
Dr. Chad Given was born and raised in Austell, GA and has lived in Pennsylvania, Nebraska, West Virginia, Kentucky and Alabama. He graduated from Auburn University in 2005 and has been with Hillsboro Animal Hospital ever since. His special interests include exotic animals, emergency and critical care, and surgery. Dr. Given is an avid hockey fan and player.
Dr. Perkins:
Dr. Tammy Perkins got her undergraduate degree from the University of Kentucky and then graduated from Auburn University in 2003. She worked as an equine veterinarian for the past four years before joining our staff in 2007. Dr. Perkins has 4 dogs and 4 cats as part of her family. Dr. Perkins is certified in rehabilitation therapy and will start rehabilitation services at the hospital soon.
Dr. Goodwin:
Dr. Katie Goodwin just recently joined Hillsboro Animal Hospital in 2008. She grew up in a military family and travelled all over the country. Dr. Goodwin completed her undergraduate degree in Animal Science and then went on to get her veterinary degree from Auburn University. We're very excited to welcome her to the Hillsboro family.
