About Us..

 Hillsboro Animal Hospital is a full-service veterinary hospital providing comprehensive medical, surgical, dental and emergency care. Hillsboro Animal Hospital was established in 1968 and is proud to be celebrating over 40 years of service.

 We have six veterinarians on staff: Dr. Steve Ladd, Dr. Steve Hendrix, Dr. Chip Rogers, Dr. Chad Given, Dr. Tammy Perkins and our newest associate, Dr. Katie Goodwin. We have a full staff of 30 employees including licensed technicians, assistants and receptionists.

 The facility includes a surgery suite with ECG, pulse-ox and blood pressure monitoring, ultrasound and endoscopy, digital X-ray, a closely supervised critical care area, oxygen cages, a well-stocked pharmacy, and separate dog and cat rooms.  We provide a broad spectrum of diagnostic procedures through in-house testing and the use of external laboratories. We perform cancer treatments, soft tissue, orthopedic and laser surgeries, along with having a board-certified surgeon on call for special orthopedic and laparotomy procedures.

 Our hospital was recently renovated and upgraded with many eco-friendly materials. We are proud to be going green in Green Hills.  We have installed all new compact-flourescent lighting, energy-efficient HVAC system, eco-resin materials and used low-VOC paints in our hospital.  We also recycle all cardboard, ink, aluminum and paper products.  We are paper-lite and are working towards being paper-less in 2010. We gladly take clients on tours and explain the many services we offer.
